Created in 1984 by the Ministry of Culture, the European Heritage Days will take place on September 21 and 22 with the aim of showing as many people as possible the extraordinary wealth of our heritage through unique events, unusual visits and exceptional openings.
The heritageand in all its forms
These special moments are an opportunity to discover heritage in its most diverse forms: religious buildings, administrative, military or judicial buildings, places of commemoration, industrial sites or craft workshops. Many private homes also open their doors on this occasion.
For its 41st edition, the European Heritage Days will be organized on Friday 20, Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 September 2024 and will have the themes “the heritage of routes, networks and connections and maritime heritage”. These days offer the opportunity to visit monuments and sites, often exceptionally open.
