A VISIT TO THE OLD TOWN

Explore the Vellave city, a veritable time machine, from the Renaissance lower town to the Middle Ages upper town and its cathedral. Departure from the Via Podiensis, the main path in Europe towards Saint-Jacques-de- Compostela, Le Puy-en-Velay is an exceptional site preserved from the ravages of time. City of art, artistic and cultural center, place of exchanges and meetings, Le Puy-en-Velay offers numerous and varied activities all year round (festivals, traditional and historical festivals). The city is also an ideal vacation spot to discover a region whose volcanism has shaped the beauty of the landscapes.
