A butcher in Saint-Privat d'Allier, this young thirty-year-old took over the family butcher's business in 2008. He succeeded his father who passed on his passion to him. In 2015, Mickaël Chabanon entered the competition for Meilleurs Ouvriers de France. After 2 years of qualifying events, he was selected for the final. After a 9-hour test, Mickaël Chabanon was named Meilleur Ouvrier de France (MOF), and next March he will receive the famous blue/white/red collar.
