Away from the summer crowds, come and discover the temporary exhibitions in our museums:
– the monumental work on Compostela “ Wen Lu ” in the cloister of Le Puy-en-Velay until October 18th ,
– “ French excellence, 50 years of creation at the Mobilier national ” at the Crozatier Museum in Puy-en-Velay until January 3, 2027.

Local specialities
The Velay region is full of markets showcasing local produce and short supply chains with local producers . In Puy-en-Velay and Craponne-sur-Arzon , the traditional farmers' market is held every Saturday morning!

In autumn, many events celebrate our local products. This year in particular, the Trifòla , the famous potato festival of the Pays de Craponne, celebrates its 25th anniversary on Sunday , October 25th!

Going to the funfair as a family
Autumn in Velay also heralds the return of the funfair, which takes place every year in Place du Breuil in Le Puy-en-Velay. It will be open from October 16 to November 14, 2026.
