Great champions
at Puy-en-Velay
The 15km International race is a benchmark in Auvergne Rhône-Alpes. This is evidenced by the international label it obtained from the French Athletics Federation for the quality of its organization but also the results and performances obtained by the runners. In the region, only 3 races have this label: the Pastourelle and the Beaujolais marathon and therefore the 15km du Puy.
As with previous editions, some runners, among the world's best road racing specialists, will be present at the start. Among the girls for example, Viola CHEPTOO 2H22'44'' in the marathon 2nd in the New York marathon in 2021 will be present as will Cynthia KOSGEI winner of the 15 km of Le Puy in 2022 and 2nd in 2023.
