A magnificent bike tour of natural and heritage riches with the program of discovering the town of Puy-en-Velay of course but also Chavaniac-Lafayette, Lavaudieu classified as the most beautiful village in France. Then your wheels will lead you to discover the Chaise-Dieu which houses a magnificent Abbey, the echo chamber and hosts the Sacred Music Festival every year. It is on the way down towards Puy-en-Velay that you will come across Lake Malaguet, the characterful town of Allègre and the remains of its castle, Mont-Bar – a Strombolian-type volcano then the imposing volcanic promontory on on which rests the Fortress of Polignac. In Puy-en-Velay, another explosion of heritage and manifestations of volcanism await you.

IMPORTANT: traveling by bike requires good autonomy in managing the bike: Knowing how to change an inner tube, putting back a “derailed” chain but also good mastery of steering a bike.
