Stalls in two rows, the exceptional Danse Macabre, a XNUMXth century mural, a remarkable flamboyant-style rood screen, a world-famous music festival... so many elements that will mark this day.

The new scenographic journey of the Abbatiale de La ensemble
Chaise-Dieu invites you to delve into its history. Discover the lodge
Clement VI where an optical theater with projection of a film relates the historical context of the construction of the abbey in the middle of the 14th century by Pope Clement VI and his nephew, Pope Gregory XI.
Continue with the discovery of the recently renovated cloister and the abbey church housing numerous treasures such as the 144 sculpted stalls surrounding the marble tomb of the Pope, the flamboyant Gothic rood screen, the majestic organ case or even the famous wall fresco of dance macabre.
