Itinerant hike on the Camino de Compostela, between Condrieu and Le Puy en Velay. Leave for 7 days in freedom in the footsteps of pilgrims, from the Pilat park to the Loire gorges. Accommodation in hotels and bed and breakfasts.
For this last stage of the Jakobsweg or Via Gebennensis, in the footsteps of German and Swiss pilgrims, you cross the Pilat Regional Natural Park and the Meygal plateaus. In addition to the historical context, this part of the path is undoubtedly one of the most interesting in terms of nature and hiking. For centuries, these paths have been used by pilgrims and hikers. By these paths full of history you arrive at the end of your hike in Puy en Velay. It is from the Notre Dame du Puy cathedral, perched on its volcanic peak, that Godescalc, bishop of Puy, left for Saint Jacques of Compostela. He was the first non-Spanish pilgrim to make the pilgrimage in the year 950. This is where the Via Podiensis begins.
