The "Roc et Eau" Festival, dedicated to the demonstration and initiation of outdoor sports, in Monistrol d'Allier returns on the weekend of July 5 and 6, 2025. Come with family or friends to enjoy this sporting event in the exceptional natural setting of the Gorges de l'Allier!
This 6th edition of the festival reaffirms its commitment to promoting the inclusion of people with disabilities, through adapted activities and inclusive courses, thus confirming the Roc et Eau association's desire to make nature accessible to all.
Roc et Eau continues to work to preserve nature, promote the discovery of local treasures, and welcome diverse audiences. The festival remains, more than ever, a powerful moment of sharing and solidarity in our region.
New! ROCK AND WATER RUN
On Sunday, July 9, participants in the Roc et Eau Run will discover the splendors of the Allier Gorges in a hiking or running version:
- An 11km hike starting at 9 a.m. (free and open departure)
- An 11km trail starting at 10 a.m.
- A 3km race (for 10-15 year olds) starting at 11 a.m.
The entertainment program
During these two days, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy thrilling outdoor activities, including free introductory rock climbing sessions for ages 10 and up. Thanks to Tonic Aventure, you can also go paddleboarding on the Allier River, departing from the beach and the Eiffel Bridge.
Pendulum jumping from the Eiffel Bridge will also be offered, as well as abseiling!
For younger visitors, inflatable structures will provide fun all weekend long, as well as wooden games for the whole family! A 45-minute meditative hike will also be offered, departing from the Eiffel Bridge at 14 p.m. and 15:30 p.m.
On Saturday evening, a free concert is organized from 20:30 p.m. with the group Peyo and a meal will be offered by reservation at 06.43.56.31.70 or 06.88.53.83.69.
