The farm specializes in the breeding of about thirty cows, whose milk is used to make, on site, in a processing workshop, yogurts and homemade ice creams, as well as rice pudding and cheese strainers.
The cows are fed with cereals and hay produced on the farm.
To promote short circuits and responsible consumption patterns, GAEC des Sapins cow's milk ice creams and yogurts have been available since March 2017, for sale directly from the farm, in the markets around the farm, as well as in producer stores in the region.
Sale on the farm every day with a call before arrival, and on the markets in Costaros (Monday), Solignac-sur-Loire (Wednesday), Yssingeaux (Thursday) and Puy en Velay (Saturday).
