Le Mont Serre

This ancient Strombolian volcano is the only one of its kind on the vast granite plateau of Chaspinhac. As you climb Mount Serre, a former Strombolian volcano, you will discover a landscape reading table.
Good visit !
Its summit will allow you to discover an immense panorama open to all the volcanoes of Velay. Devès, Meygal and Mézenc will appear to you in all their extent.
Access: village of Chaspinhac, place des Granges near the communal oven.
Car park: car park and start of the hike with Volcans en liberté guide signage.
Hike: 1 hour (AR).
Others: landscape interpretation table at the top of Mont Serre.
