Le Camino
The Camino is a welcoming and informative place for pilgrims and walkers. It is a museum-tour themed around the Way of St. James. Last admission to the tour is half an hour before closing. Shop, café, and garden are available.
Follow the path of the stars and visualize the stages to Compostela. The Camino's scenography immerses you in the Way of St. James. From its origins in the Middle Ages to its modern form, all aspects of the "Camino" are presented.
A true invitation to experience, a welcoming place for walkers to find advice and meet others, it is also an essential part of the cultural life of Le Puy-en-Velay. The Camino's "café-garden," a convivial space open to all, and its garden offer a relaxing respite near the cathedral.

Information: Pilgrim welcome by the Friends of St. James of Velay, pilgrim credential sales from April 1st to October 15th with a complimentary drink from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. For those with a sweet tooth, waffles are available, and savory options include Pot'pots products such as salted pork with lentils and risotto. Dishes are served from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM (except July and August: 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM).
