Geb Nout Diffusion
4ha area of agroforestry and permaculture gardens within a natural forest, discovery of the site and techniques for growing nourishing and medicinal plants. Guided tours, courses, product tastings, sales…
The GEB NOUT association created in 2007 is engaged in work to preserve biodiversity, and particularly wild flora.
The Baffour farm on which Geb Nout carries out his work is located on former land of the Abbey of La Chaise Dieu which has not known human activity for nearly 100 years and therefore represents an exceptional heritage, unique biodiversity.
This place has different biotopes (BRF, mounds, mulch, mulch, “permaculture”, elixir, biodynamics, manure, compost, etc.), all very different in their soil, and their plant cover, endemic plants, trees, shrubs. Certain cultivated varieties which are old varieties and which have retained their fertility and their power of adaptation are installed in wild environments.
Most micro-gardens are set up in a natural forest environment.
Cultivation of medicinal plants, vegetables, cereals, flowers.
Land of experimentation (observation, preservation and exchange in respect of the living). Medicinal garden integrated in a natural forest environment at an altitude of 1100 m.
This place aims to preserve living things and their evolution in line with humans through harmonious cohabitation, in a search for reciprocal autonomy: earth-man. Attention is paid to listening to an ecosystem in permanent transformation, how to integrate into it and find the balance between man and his environment. Geb-Nout is in contact with associations, farmers, independent researchers, therapists, all concerned about the future of living things.
Geb-Nout offers internships and training throughout the year. He develops and distributes products resulting from his research: ancient wheat breads, wild tea, wild pistou, infusion, flower biscuits, etc. floral elixirs, complexes, hydrosols, balms, etc.
