Eglise Nativité de Notre Dame

Built in the 1926th century, it has been listed in the inventory of historical monuments since XNUMX.
We are struck by the polychromy of the materials that compose it and the massive character of its buttresses. During work in 1970, Gallo-Roman remains were collected:
a sarcophagus, carved from a block of granite, was placed upright under the large stained glass window
a labrum that was used for ablutions at the entrance to Roman temples was placed near the entrance. After fulfilling the function of baptismal tank, it is not excluded that it served as a drinking trough...
The interior, Romanesque at the base with Gothic additions in the XNUMXth century, is very sober with which the magnificent Louis XIII altarpiece contrasts.
