Calvaire
Located at the exit of the town in the direction of Intranges, it dominates the valley with three large crosses, a symbol of Christianity.
Located about 6 km from La Chaise Dieu, Connangles is a small village dotted with many hiking trails.
In stone, iron or wood, Calvaries and crosses flourished at the crossroads, to remind Christians of the sacrifice of Jesus and encourage them to prayer.
In La Chaise-Dieu, you can visit in particular the cross of Bancillon (1541) or the Calvary of Connangles.
