The National Lace Conservatory Workshop, created in 1976, is attached to the general administration of National Furniture, under the supervision of the Ministry of Culture. It is open to visits and the lacemakers present their projects.
Set off to discover the Route des Savoir-Faire de Haute-Loire!

The Puy-en-Velay National Lace Workshop-Conservatory is responsible for maintaining and perpetuating the know-how of bobbin lace at a level of excellence.
The works created by lacemakers, based on models by contemporary artists (drawings, paintings, design concepts, 3D models), enrich the collections of the National Furniture and are deposited in prestigious places (high places of the Republic, contemporary art exhibitions…); they illustrate the vitality of the art of lace in the XNUMXst century.

The workshop is open to visits, the lacemakers present the project they are responsible for and answer visitors' questions.
