Abbaye de Doue

Doue Abbey has dominated the Loire Valley since the XNUMXth century. It was very quickly entrusted to the Premonstratensian Canons who would evolve its buildings, its architecture and its decorations over the course of historical events up to the Revolution.
After 12 years of restoration work and archaeological and historical research, the Abbey opened its doors to visitors in 2023.
By exploring its walls, you will go back in time to discover the life of the Premonstratensian monks and the history that lies dormant in these stones.
