My beautiful campaign is a complex dedicated to well-being located in Saint-Geneys-près-Saint-Paulien, opposite the Château du Maréchal Fayolle. There are spas available for private hire and a hydromassage swimming pool on site. and unique services, in an exceptional setting where customers can come and relax, have their hair done or simply go shopping. There are also two 5-epis Gîtes de France accommodations. The concept, unique in its kind, contributes to the dynamism of the town renowned as being the cradle of lovers.
What made you want to create this complex?
Nathalie Bouchet: My husband and I are touched by the well-being of others. We wanted to give shape to a rather improbable project, given its scale. To do this, we identified the needs in the territory, before making them a reality. It happened quite naturally.
And why here?
In fact, this is in addition to what is already offered in the village by Ludovic and Romain Bertrand who are our cousins and who offer a nice visit to their tea room and their shop. We want to perpetuate this activity throughout the year and develop well-being in accordance with what they do and in complementarity.
A word about the building where the wellness areas are offered?
It took two and a half years of work to offer the different wellness spaces that it offers today. Previously, there were all the administrative procedures. We did a lot of things ourselves, such as everything related to demolition, earthworks and painting. When we acquired this building, we knew that we had a space of 650 m2 to be able to offer different services.
How many jobs have been created?
4 jobs have been created so far. Depending on the activity, I may be called upon to make new recruitments.
What types of experiences are offered here?
There is a wellness area dedicated to spas with an indoor and outdoor sensory journey. This is something innovative in our region. It is possible to privatize the outdoor spa for a period of 30 minutes, on the garden side. We also offer a spa area with exclusive services and a flotation chamber.
A local craftsman has designed a stainless steel hydromassage pool. It's actually a large relaxing spa, with extensions, benches and fountains. There is a hairdressing area and a beauty area, but also a boutique area, with ready-to-wear, accessories and cosmetics. We also offer a wellness area for businesses, with a seminar room and the possibility of privatizing a spa. I would like to point out that you can come here simply to do some shopping in the boutique area. We are not obliged to provide care.
Is there also an accommodation area?
Yes. In terms of accommodation, we offer two 5-cornered Gîtes de France, which allow access to the balneotherapy or sensory trail. They were designed in a garden and castle spirit and all the comfort that goes with it, it's the “Shabby chic” spirit. We've spent a lot of time searching for three years to decorate them as they are. We found beautiful cabinets and beautiful works of yesteryear that we re-presented in our own way.
Who are you targeting?
It is that of the Puy-en-Velay basin, but not only. There are also people who come from La Chaise-Dieu for example. In fact, it is very wide. Because there are everyone who comes to visit the village. It is wider and wider and it comes further and further. We also want to develop the “Day spa”, the one-day spa experience.
