From July 3, 2026, summer nights will once again light up in Le Puy-en-Velay with the return of Puy de Lumières. To celebrate the launch of this 10th season and the start of the summer holidays, a festive and delicious evening awaits you at the Jardin du Musée Crozatier from 19 pm!

To participate in the launch of this unmissable event, join us on Friday, July 3rd from 7pm at the Henri Vinay Garden Park. Food trucks, a free concert and entertainment await you to discover the two new features for 2026 in downtown Le Puy: the Fantastic Visit on the façade of the Crozatier Museum and then the Renaissance of the Volcano on the Saint-Michel d'Aiguilhe Rock.

The Carmelite church in the light
A major new feature of this 2026 edition is that the Saint-Pierre des Carmes church is officially included in the Puy de Lumières route.
A Gothic jewel dating from the 14th century, its remarkable neo-Gothic façade becomes the backdrop for a luminous creation that highlights its architecture, contemporary stained-glass windows, and the landscapes of the Velay region. Already acclaimed at the La Région des Lumières festival, this show further enriches the event's artistic offerings.

Getting around during Puy de Lumières?
On July 3rd, Puy de Lumières will only offer the 5 shows in the city of Le Puy-en-Velay, from 23 pm until midnight. The route is free and open to the public, allowing you to discover the shows at each monument on foot. For the Brives-Charensac shows, you'll have to wait until nightfall on July 4th to see them!
