Description
Leave the village using the D 201 which goes towards Moranges. At the junction [> cross], turn right towards Prumet. At the bend, leave the road for the path on the right at the edge of the woods and arrive at an intersection of paths.
Go left, then continue straight, ignoring the secondary paths on either side of the main path. Come out onto a small road. Follow it to the right, reach the houses of Saint-Douly, then reach a crossroads.
Turn left. After 100 m, leave the road for the path on the left. In the woods, continue straight on the main path. Arrive at a fork.
Turn right and continue until you exit the woods. At the entrance to Montvachal, the path becomes tarmac. Cross the village in a straight line. At the last house, take the path on the right. Go down between the agricultural lands and soon find the tarmac.
When the road turns right, turn left onto the dirt road. Continue to the hamlet of La Monadière. At the road, cross to follow the lane opposite. Soon discover a path on the left.
Take this path which begins by going down into the woods, then crosses a stream. There the path divides. Go up to the left. The path turns left again and continues to climb.
Reach a perpendicular forest track. Take it on the right. Cross a small road to go straight ahead and reach the village of Prumet. Follow the road on the left. Soon find your way back to the start and arrive at the entrance to La Chapelle-Geneste.
