Move towards the houses of Freycenet. Cross the hamlet and continue along the road for 300 m. 
At the crossroads, continue left. Cross Fontannes straight on, ignoring the track on the left. At the last houses, continue on the path. In the woods, stay on the main path which dominates the Allier valley.
At the pass, in the right bend, ignore the path on the left and stay right on the path which goes down the side then continues on a balcony.
On the shoulder, at the intersection, go up the path on the left. He climbs into the woods and comes to a snare. > On the left, 250 m away, the path leads to the Saint-Étienne chapel.
Continue along the path on the right. He goes up to Douchanez. In the hamlet, continue along the road on the left for 300 m.
Take the path to the right. Go down the road on the right for 300 m. 
At the bend, go up the path on the left. Ignore the climbing path on the left to continue straight ahead. 
Facing the old quarry, go down the track on the right. It brings you back to the starting point.
