Description

In the hamlet of Betz, take the small street on the left. At the last houses, continue on the dirt road. At the junction, go left. The path goes down and reaches a fork at the edge of the woods.
Go down left. At the crossroads, go straight ahead and emerge onto a wide open path. Follow the latter on the left. Cross the bridge over Rivet and reach the entrance to the hamlet of Rivet. Take immediately left then, at the crossroads, turn left again to take the dirt road. Soon, this path splits.
Take the hollow path on the right and climb into the woods. At the high point, out of the trees, arrive on a wide path. Continue left towards Les Vignettes. After the houses, take the path on the right. Reach a fork. Go straight ahead. The path leads into a first valley, goes up again, crosses a second valley before reaching La Chapelette. > Off the circuit on the right, 150 m away, chapel.
Take the road on the left. Higher up, join another road (D 49). Follow it to the left (be careful!) for 400 m until you reach the entrance to Saint-Marsal. There, take the path on the right [fountain]. Quickly, the path divides.
Continue on the narrow path on the left. Join and cross a road [stone cross] and continue on the path opposite. The path becomes a simple path at the edge of the woods, goes down between the pines to cross a stream and goes up again to reach the outskirts of the holiday center. Pass near the sports field, then arrive on a road. Cut it and take the grassy path which quickly reaches a junction.
Follow the road on the left until you reach the observatory. Continue to the right to return to the center of Betz and find the starting point.
