Description
Departure from the multipurpose room parking lot. Take the path between the hedge and the multipurpose room. Cross the road and go up Allée Beausoleil. Cross the housing estate, ignoring the dead ends on the left and right. At the intersection with the road, turn right.
At the fork, continue left on the wide path. Persevere with your left hand. Ignore the path on the right, then arrive at a crossroads. At the fork, continue left on the wide path.
Take the César route (GR765) on the right. Go straight ahead, still on the Chemin de César until you reach a new junction at the bottom of the valley. At the stream, go right (avoid the collapsed footbridge) and go back up to the D9; follow it to the left for 70 m (Be careful!) then leave it on the right between the trees. At the intersection with the path, turn right again and continue straight on along the main path, ignoring the side paths. Arrive at a bend in a road.
Proceed on the road opposite, pass a crossroads towards Mondouilloux. Leave the houses of the Estrade on the right and arrive at a right bend. (Resupply)
At the crossroads, leave the GR765 by turning right into the woods. Cross it ignoring all other routes. At the road, turn right to reach Mondouilloux. In the center of the hamlet, turn right then left.
At the exit of the hamlet, turn left and keep to your left. At the edge of the woods, leave the path on the left and continue on the wide path. It leads to Douilloux.
In the hamlet, take the road on the left then immediately on the right. At the cross, follow the path to the right. It winds through the woods for a kilometer.
At the junction with the asphalt road, turn left towards the houses. Follow this road then, at a bend, cross the hamlet of Chabassenelles. Continue straight on for 800 m, passing the place called Le Croiset.
At the fork at the wastewater treatment plant, take the path uphill on the left, it becomes a tarmac road. At the college, take the road opposite, to the left of the car park. It becomes a path running alongside the football field.
After 250 m, turn right onto the path. it winds in the shade of the trees up to houses. At the road, turn left for 60 m then right onto rue des Chalmettes. At the crossroads, go up then down the street on the right to the heart of the village.
At the intersection with the main street, turn left towards the church then go around it via the alley on the left. Pass under the keep then reach the Place du For and the Tourist Office.
At the corner of the Arzon counter, take rue du For on the right. It leads onto the main road. Cross it and continue opposite rue Notre Dame to find your starting point.
