Etape GR70 Le Puy-en-Velay – Saint-Martin-de-Fugères

From the Collège church, go down rue du Bessat then, straight ahead, via rue Crozatier. Turn left onto Boulevard du Maréchal-Fayolle then right onto Avenue Georges-Clémenceau (621 m). Cross the crossroads and go up opposite via rue Pierre-Farigoule. It passes above the railway tracks. Continue left, boulevard Bertrand-de-Doue, for 100 m, then turn right onto avenue d'Ours-Mons.
Before the swimming pool, take rue Édouard-Estonié on the right, then climb Chemin de Bel-Air on the left. Reach a fork. 
Follow the path on the left and reach the center of Ours. Go down to the right via Chemin du Vallon. At the exit of the village, pass near a washhouse and watering troughs. Before the road, the path turns right then left to pass under the N 88. Reach a junction.
Go opposite on the path which, after 20 m, splits. Then follow the path on the right.
Take the path on the left. After the cross, it goes down and then becomes a road between the houses. At the crossroads, follow the D 38 on the left for 100 m, then go down the Route de la Chabanne on the left. At the cross, go down left then right into the Mourgues housing estate. Take the D 37 on the right, then turn left, cross the bridge over the Loire and arrive at Coubon (633 m).
Continue on the D 37. At the exit of the village, go straight up the Route de l'Holme for 450 m.
Turn onto the road on the right. Leave the road to La Roche on the right and continue straight on. The road rises in several bends and arrives at Holme (808 m).
At L'Holme, take the second lane on the left. It continues into a wide path then becomes a road again.
Cut the D 37 at the entrance to Archinaud, take the road opposite and continue straight on. At Bois-Rouillier, continue straight on the wide path. Stay left. The path crosses the woods and reaches a T-junction.
Take the path opposite between the trees. It leads to L'Herm.
After the wash, turn right and climb between shrubs and low walls. Continue straight ahead along the wide path. At the entrance to the Mont, take the road on the left for 40 m, then the street on the right.
At the playground, take the path on the left. Pass near the antenna, then follow the stone wall and go down between two low walls.
At the crossroads, take Avenue du Puy (D 27) opposite. It runs alongside the cemetery. Continue straight ahead via rue Langlade. On Place Françoisd'Estaing, turn left and arrive at the foot of the stairs of the abbey church.
Follow rue Saint-Pierre straight ahead and arrive at the Saint-Jean chapel [> slate roof, 16th century frescoes].
Go down to the right via rue Henri-Débard towards La Fuye. Pass near the holiday village then cross the housing estate straight on. 
When the road splits, stay left. After the campsite, cross the bridges over the Gazeille (816 m), then climb straight into the forest. At the flat area, continue on the main path to the right, then turn left.
On the plateau (958 m), leave the main path for the path on the right. Go down, cross the stream and go up to Cluzel (957 m). Take the road opposite to Courmacès.
Cross the crossroads, take the street on the right for a few meters, go left, walk past the houses and use the grassy path. Take the wide track on the left. It crosses a narrow valley and goes up to Cros. 
Ignore the road on the left, pass to the left of the wash house, then follow the road on the right for 90 m. At the crossroads, take the road on the left. It runs alongside the stadium and becomes a path. Take the D 49 on the right for 80 m, then the path on the left for 30 m.
Continue along the path straight ahead and emerge at the apse of the church of Saint-Martin-de-Fugères (1 m). Go around it on the left.
