The play L'Atelier by Jean-Claude Grumbert, directed by Jean-Paul Faisandier, was performed on May 9, 2024 as part of the commemorations of May 8, 1945. At the request of many Coubonnais, it will be performed again by the 8-5-45 troupe.
In a clothing workshop, from 1945 to 1948, employees work and, between laughter and tears, tell their lives during the Occupation and in the immediate post-war period: a Jew who was deported, another who lived in hiding in the occupied zone, ... So many different destinies that intersect and all raise the same question: how to live after the trauma of war and the Shoah.
