Saturday May 17
Salon du livre – 2ème édition
Saturday May 17
Salle de la Grenette Place Marchédial 43500 Craponne-sur-Arzon
The book fair is back, enriched with a space dedicated to botany, conferences and debates around war reporting, an expanded youth space, discovery workshops, readings, storytellers, meetings and signings.
The patrons of this exhibition will be Corinne PRADIER, member of the Société des gens de lettres, journalist for the magazine Massif Central and author of, among other things, “Chats de Campagne” and Margaux BENN, war reporter for Le Figaro, winner of the 2022 Albert Londres prize (war press).
-Corinne Pradier presents in her recent news a magnificent work of collaboration with the chef Michel Bras “Cheminement”, an interview with the novelist Michel Bussi, in the magazine Massif Central, and a literary and musical show around the book “Mon grand Large”, illustrated by the superb photos of Vincent Jolfre.
– Margaux Benn, senior reporter, accompanied by Dorothée Olliéric, also a war reporter and author of “Maman s'en va-t'en guerre”, will accompany presentations and debates around this intense and little-known profession.
They will illustrate this with a meeting with Mortaza Behboudi, France 2 correspondent abroad, former hostage of the Taliban, and author of a recent work on his captivity.
Finally, Marc Jeanson, author of “Botaniste”, former director of the National Herbarium at the Natural History Museum in Paris and current botanical director of the Jardin Majorelle in Marrakech, will share with us his passion for herbariums, but will also take us, during a conference, into the world of these adventurers – botanists, who have built up over the centuries, our knowledge of plants from all over the world.
