Angelin Preljocaj explores encounters in different forms in this triptych, which combines embraces, duels, and missed encounters through precise and expressive dance. Ballet Preljocaj, in three pieces.
• Annunciation: a reflection on the intimate and metaphysical upheaval of the Annunciation where the body and mind oscillate between submission and revolt. Preljocaj sees a parallel with the creative process, transforming the idea into reality.
• A Trait d'Union: Inspired by Plato, this piece questions our quest for the other to fill our solitude. It illustrates the tension between the desire for connection and the impossibility of total fusion.
• White Tears: a poetic and refined choreography where two couples navigate between tradition and modernity. The fluid and contrasting body language plays on stylistic ruptures reflecting the complexities of human relationships.
