Reconnaître champignons et goûter plantes sauvages au printemps
43130 Retournac
Exceptional workshop co-hosted with Jérôme Legros, mycologist and picker for the Marcon houses and Charlie Braesch, field botanist and nature facilitator.
This morning will be dedicated to the recognition of seasonal wild mushrooms and plants. We will discuss the tools needed to avoid confusion and to know the edible, medicinal or useful species and the toxic ones.
Of course, we will raise awareness of sustainable harvesting, respecting fungal and plant populations.
We will end with a tasty aperitif highlighting the unsuspected flavors of wild plants.
It may be helpful to take something to write on, and to make the Scandinavian adage your own: “There is no such thing as bad weather, just ill-fitting clothing.”
