In the 1980s, a “Serre de la Fare” dam project threatened to engulf 23 kilometers of gorges in the upper Loire valley. A collective was created to fight against this titanic project.
This hike proposes to evolve in the heart of these landscapes which have been preserved by the tenacity of a few.
Provide walking shoes, clothing adapted to the weather, water, children
snacks and picnic, sun protection (cream, glasses).
Plan a 40-minute drive from Puy-en-Velay.
