You gradually leave the cultivated lands of the Devès plateau to climb the wooded slopes of Mont Bar. This cone of scoria preserves in its crater peat bogs which were protected by a nature reserve. Many stories and legends tell this exceptional site.
Provide walking shoes, clothing adapted to the weather, water, children
snacks and picnic, sun protection (cream, glasses).
Plan a 20-minute drive from Puy-en-Velay.
