Printemps du patrimoine : exposition "Eau, source du patrimoine"
Monday May 19
Pinatelle du zouave Les Adrets 43000 Polignac
An essential element of our lives, water constitutes and surrounds us. Through the lens of Jérémie Mazet, this exhibition reveals the landscapes of Velay shaped by water.
From gorges to valleys, from river to stream, from washhouse to water treatment plant, from legendary sites to weather stations... water is omnipresent and reveals heritage as numerous as it is unexpected.
At the gateway to Le Puy-en-Velay, the Pinatelle du Zouave is a forest of around thirty hectares, a sensitive natural area owned by the Department. It has become a popular walking area, offering three main trails and four large natural meadows ideal for relaxing, ball games, disc golf, or orienteering. The site also provides evidence of an ancient practice of harvesting firewood for bread ovens: the "baker's pine."
