The adventure of four young people searching for the recipe for the philosopher's stone in the archives of the British Library.
Jason Gray, the son of the curator of the British Library, has just buried his father. Back at the “Dernier Mot”, the library café, he finds Susan, his archivist girlfriend, and Billy, a young paraplegic actor. It is then that Megan, a history student, comes to give him an envelope from the deceased. Testament or last message? No, just a code: 1036.a.38!
