L'Atelier de Jean-Claude Grumberg

Saturday, January 18 at 20 a.m.
Maison pour tous 1, avenue de Coubon 43700 Brives-Charensac
In a clothing workshop, from 1945 to 1948, employees work and, between laughter and tears, tell their lives during the Occupation and in the immediate post-war period.
A Jew who was deported, another who lived in hiding in the occupied zone, a third who took refuge in the free zone, a fourth, again, whose husband was arrested and sent to the camps, but also young people barely affected by the war and a woman whose civil servant husband may have collaborated... So many different destinies that intersect and all raise the same question: how to live after the trauma of war and the Shoah.
