Larzac !
Friday July 11 at 18:15 p.m.
Derrière le four Blanlhac 43800 Rosières
After 1336 (word of the Fralibs), the committed Philippe Durand returns to Nuits de rêve… with a piece dedicated to those who form the Civil Society of the lands of Larzac.
Larzac! does not talk about the famous fight of the 70s, it is barely mentioned. Here, it is what is happening today on the Larzac plateau which is at the heart of the show: the life of its inhabitants and that of the collective management tool for agricultural land in which they participate.
Philippe Durand went to meet these inhabitants, peasants or not, and recorded the sound of the exchanges he had with them, kept the raw words – he tried to carry these words with all the life that animates them – and made a story of them. In a mixture of intimacies, reflections on our relationship to property, on the peasant agriculture that the Larzaciens intend to lead, questions on the functioning of the collective, democracy, they are the reflection of 40 years of experience of this exemplary collective management.
This social adventure is sustainable, is a complete success, which should be a model, but does not make much noise.
Hence the exclamation point: Larzac!
Documentary theater / Cie 13.36 / Teenagers and adults / Duration: 1h25.
