Sunday August 31
La Foulée des Vignerons
Sunday August 31
Le Préau 10 rue Danton 43750 Vals-près-le-Puy
The Vals Winegrowers' Run is back! After three wonderful years of barrel maturation (125 participants in 2022, 175 in 2023, 230 in 2024), the 2025 vintage of the Winegrowers' Run is ready to be enjoyed! Propolis Concert (free).
Our team of winegrowers/runners offers you a great program with two timed events for adults and a children's race:
– A 7,5km route (D+250) to make the Valladiers trails accessible to as many people as possible.
This mini Trail will allow you to attack the Vignes de Vals, the little-known Chibottes or even the Dolaizon footbridge.
– The main distance of 13,5km offers a circuit with 450m of positive elevation gain, it will be selective but will remain, due to its reasonable distance, accessible to a good number of runners.
The route will retain its nature trail essence, with the aim of discovering or rediscovering the trails and remarkable places of Valladier: Les Chibottes, La Borie Blanche, the Dolaizon dam, the Camp d'Eycenac and of course the vineyards of Vals. But a little surprise awaits you with the discovery of two new, never-before-seen trails...
– Children will also be able to take part in the festivities with a 1 km children's race in the centre of Vals.
A raffle with numerous prizes to be won will round out the day's program. Finally, a refreshment bar and snacks will be available on site to help you recover from your post-workout emotions. Each competitor will be offered a drink at the refreshment bar and a souvenir wine glass by the Vignerons de Vals. A €2 raffle ticket can be purchased when you register on Chronopuces or on site on race day.
