30 photographs by Robert Doisneau are on display this year until September 29, 2024 at La Chaise-Dieu Abbey. As part of the JEP, 2 guided tours of the exhibition will be offered at 10:30 a.m. and 15:30 p.m. by reservation on September 21 and 22
The abbey of La Chaise-Dieu hosted several schools in its buildings for many years after the Revolution and the departure of the Benedictine monks... An original scenography was therefore built around 30 original photographs by Robert Doisneau on the theme of school, in collaboration with socio-educational structures, the inhabitants of the La Chaise-Dieu plateau and photographers and visual artists.
