Guided tour of the sacristy of the abbey church by the brothers of the Saint-Jean Community as part of the European Heritage Days on Saturday September 21 and Sunday September 22, 2024 from 14:30 p.m. to 17:30 p.m.
The ground floor of the Clémentine Tower was converted into a sacristy by the Maurist monks in the 17th century following the destruction caused during the wars of religion. What is hidden in this room and behind the cupboard doors? The European Heritage Days are an opportunity to discover the beauty of the woodwork that adorns the walls as well as the liturgical objects and vestments from various eras.
Tours depart every 30 minutes, to the right of the main altar of the church.
