Come and attend the screening-meeting of the film "Under the Girls' Skirt" (60 minutes) with Elena Bertuzzi, director.
A choreographic journey in the Indian Ocean, starting with the Mbiwi, the dance par excellence of wedding ceremonies in Mayotte, the film goes back to female initiation rites. These practices allow women to assert a powerful and creative feminine subjectivity. Thus, through dance, women claim a creative sexuality and sensuality that constitute a bulwark against the dominant power and allow them to maintain an important space of freedom, action and decision.
