The exhibition "Regards d'ailleurs" by the painter Alain Richard awaits you at the Jean-Claude Simon gallery, at the Hôtel du Département.
From his travels to meet people, to bivouac in the four corners of the world in Mongolia, Nepal, Tibet, Ladakh or Zanskar, to preferring to the comfort of a hotel, the modest lodging offered by the native, he brought back many memories. And drawings galore. From these sketches, these tenuous features thrown on paper, the contours of a face are born. Then comes the parchment skin of the character, his gnarled hands. And finally, a look that we will not soon forget.
