In 2025, the Crozatier Museum invites you on an exotic and refined journey to the Land of the Rising Sun.
Samurai armor, delicate porcelain, ivory statuettes, gold-dusted lacquerware, silver vases, silk kimonos, colorful prints...

Over 300 Japanese pieces, patiently collected by an art lover or discovered in museums throughout the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, bear witness to a captivating civilization. From 16th-century treasures to the most contemporary creations, discover a constantly evolving tradition such as the tea ceremony, ikebana, martial arts, and manga!

The temporary exhibition is accessible with the museum entrance ticket.
