Trumpeter, guitarist, singer, Manouche Fournier has been part of numerous musical projects such as the Zozophonic Orchestra or the Junkyard Crew. He lived for many years in the United States as a teacher, musician and researcher with a thesis on "Black American identity in blues and jazz".

“At the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th centuries, the vast majority of black Americans generally did not have access to forms of expression other than music and singing. The blues was one of its fundamental creations and then existed in multiple forms (Soul, Funk, Hip Hop, etc.) – as such it contains part of the identity of those who sing it, play it, dance it or play it. listen. Using his instruments and his voice or through sound and visual archives, Manouche Fournier invites us on a journey to grasp the forms of cultural and musical appropriations of these Africans in America”.
