Iranian judoka Leila and her coach Maryam are heading to the World Judo Championships with the intention of bringing home Iran's first gold medal.

But during the competition, they receive an ultimatum from the Islamic Republic, ordering Leila to fake an injury and drop out to avoid a possible confrontation with the Israeli athlete. With her freedom and that of her family at stake, Leila is faced with an impossible choice: bow to the Iranian regime, as her coach implores, or fight to achieve her dream.
