Yonathan, a luxury watch expert with a monotonous daily life, sees his life turned upside down when he joins forces with Eric, a fence and con man.

Fascinated by Eric's lifestyle, Yonathan loses all control. Things accelerate when, in 2010, Jo, a genius burglar, steals five masterpieces from the Museum of Modern Art in Paris to fulfill an order from Eric. From then on, the three men are drawn into an uncontrollable spiral.

Loosely based on a true story, The Rules of Art reminds us that the heist of the century cannot be a matter for amateurs...
