PR577 Entre Loire et Gazeille
Between Loire and Gazeille, a route with grandiose and varied landscapes. You will meet small, characteristic villages that bear witness to the agricultural world that still remains dominant in our countryside.
Join the road and follow it to the right until the bend. At the bend take the path opposite and go down to the Colempce stadium.
Join the D 37 road and cross the bridge over the Gazeille. At the entrance to Colempce Haut, turn left between the houses.
At the intersection, climb straight on the stony path. Enter the forest and go straight on. At the level, continue straight on a path which joins the road. Follow it to the left for 700 m.
Turn at the second path on the right. Cross a wood then go straight on until you reach the road. Turn right to take it for 450 m. Turn left and go down a path. It then goes back to the Salles.
At the junction, at the entrance to the village, head left and immediately go down right. Pass in front of the wash house and follow the road to go back up. At the crossroads, go right then, at the next one, straight on the path following the GR® 3. A little further on, continue to climb to the left (panorama). The path goes back down.
Enter the forest on the left and further down, at the crossroads, turn right. At the next one, in the undergrowth, go down to the left and reach a wide track near Vazeilles. Follow it on the right until Onzillon.
On the square, take the second lane on the left (leave GR® 3 momentarily). At the bottom of the descent, turn right to enter a wood and follow the path on the right.
At the intersection, turn left onto the wider path (GR 3). After 60 m, leave it for the path on the left. A little further on, continue straight ahead parallel to the road.
Turn right to follow the wide path. Cut the road.
3. After the house, go down left to the road. Take it to the right, cross the bridge and turn left to reach Colempce Bas.
2. Go back up the outward path to Chadron.
