PR247 A la recherche de l'eau salée
This route clearly illustrates the confluence of waters at Vorey... After crossing the Arzon, set off in search of the salt meadows, to join and then follow the Tizou stream as it descends towards the Loire.
From the car park, head towards the village square. Go left on the D 103 and cross the Arzon. Turn off at the third street on the right, Chemin du Tizou.
At the fork, go up to the right and reach a road. Take it to the right for 100 m, then turn right onto a path. Further down, take the road on the left for 300 m. Leave it for the second path on the right.
At a first junction, follow the path on the left. Then ignore two paths on the right.
At the crossroads, turn left and reach Laroux. In the hamlet, turn right. After a few meters, turn left and pass in front of the common oven and the wash houses. Ignore a path on the left and climb to the right. Continue on the path to move away from the hamlet. Ignore a path on the right and continue up to the stream.
Cross it, then keep to the left to reach a road. Follow it to the right and cross Poux. Enter the Terraces.
After the first houses, turn left into an alley. Shortly after, head right and go down the path leading away from the houses. Go straight to Vorey.
2 Continue straight ahead, then take the D 103 on the left. Cross the Arzon. On the square, turn right to reach the start.
