PR101 La croix du Bancillon

From the Malvières church, go down the small road that leaves the village. Reach a junction where the Bancillon cross stands. Take the path on the right which soon descends steeply, then turns left to reach Lagrifolle. In the center of the hamlet, follow the road on the left which goes up from the last houses. Reach another road.
Follow it to the left for a few meters before going under the trees again on the right. A little further up, the path splits. Turn right. Continue between the trees, then come to a junction (junction with the PR 103).
Go up the path opposite into the woods. When it splits, continue to the right. At the high point, arrive on a small road. Cross and continue opposite on the gravel path. Almost at the lake, leave this path for a path on the left. Arrive at the water's edge. Go left for 80 m.
Then follow the path on the bank, cross an arm of water on a wooden bridge and continue until the D 906. Take the small road on the left. Near a sorting area, discover a narrow path on the right.
Take the latter which winds and leads to an abandoned area. Cross it to find the D 906 at the entrance to La Chaise-Dieu. Follow the road to the path on the left just before the railway line.
Take this path which will run alongside the railway line. Reach a fork in the road.
Turn left onto a path between farmland. Ignore a grassy path on the left, then enter the woods. Arrive on a road and take it on the left for 350 m.
Leave it for a path on the left which goes under the trees. Arrive at a tarmac crossroads. Follow the small road opposite that leads to Parot. On the edge, near the houses of Parot, turn left.
Leave the road for a path on the right. The latter gradually narrows and goes down to Malvières.
