Hôtel de Jerphanion Cambacérès – chambre d'hôtes de caractère

In the heart of Puy-en-Velay, an old Marian city listed as a UNESCO heritage site, great departure point for Santiago de Compostela (GR65), at the gates of unspoiled nature and the sources of the Loire, the private mansion of Jerphanion Cambacérès welcomes you.
This beautiful 18th century residence was restored by the sculptor Philippe Kaeppelin and his wife Josée, then by his son Dominique and his wife Brehed, also artists.

Brehed, as well as his daughter Jeanne and his son-in-law Pierre, live here and welcome you in a suite with delicate charm, populated with imaginary birds and overlooking the garden. Dreams and calm await you in this exceptional place.

On the ground floor, a large entrance hall, classified as a historic monument, welcomes visitors. The “Bird Suite” is located right next door, and has direct access to the large balcony terrace and the enclosed garden (approximately 650 m2).

It consists of two large communicating rooms (approximately 80m2 in total) that can accommodate 2 to 4 people (1 double bed and 2 single beds), with private adjoining bathroom (bath, washbasin on cupboard and WC ). Small adjoining painted boudoir with table and office chair and cot on request.
HD TV (TNT channels) in the double bedroom, and WIFI (free and secure connection) throughout the accommodation.

Central heating (gas).

Courtesy tray available to travelers.

Private parking (property closed by a gate).

Guests benefit from the enclosed, shaded and flowery garden in the summer, its furnished terrace as well as a large balcony (gallery on the ground floor) with garden furniture available.

Breakfast is served in the dining room, restored and listed as a Historic Monument, and also directly overlooking the garden.

The large hall and the garden are shared with the hosts of the premises who reside on the 1st floor.

Unmissable visit to Puy-en-Velay and its region (Notre-Dame du Puy Cathedral, Cloister of the Cathedral, Corneille Rock and Notre-Dame de France Statue, St-Michel d'Aiguilhe Rock and Chapel, Saint-Alexis Digital Chapel (Terre de Géants show), Hôtel le Camino, Hôtel-Dieu (show, Crozatier Museum, National Lace Conservatory, Polignac Fortress, etc.).
